Sodexo, a French food services and facilities management company that employs 425,000 people, has developed measures with the IUF to combat sexual harassment. In 2018, an annex was adopted, in the form of a joint commitment annexed to the existing comprehensive framework agreement, which obliges the company to respect a zero tolerance for sexual harassment. The common obligation states that sexual harassment is a criminal offence that may lead to disciplinary measures, including dismissal from the company, and that Sodexo will train all employees in this directive and the responsibilities associated with it. Over a two-year period, IndustriALL subsidiaries in Turkey and Bangladesh have successfully organized more than 50 subcontracting plants as part of a programme to effectively implement global framework agreements. In recent years, the number of global framework agreements has increased in sectors that employ large numbers of women. The Global Framework Agreement (GFA) between IndustriALL and German retailer Tchibo was signed in September 2016 and the parties continue to work towards effective implementation. . . .
